Usually black artists were a dime in a dozen. But on that day, Hollywood finally gave birth to something it was missing. It marked the first episode of “The Arsenio Hall Show.” Unlike other talk shows, Arsenio Hall focused on providing black artists a shot of success. He gave artists such as Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, and Prince the freedom to express themselves on a large national platform. The show was

Clearly, it must be an important issue, for it is on all the media: corporate, social and otherwise. And if it drags out long enough, it could inspire the making of a movie or at least lead to other goodwill tours inside the alternating racist and reformist mind of America.

In Defeat, Abrams Emerges as Leading Voting Rights Advocate

The Georgia Democrat, who came about 60,000 votes shy of becoming America’s first Black female governor, refused to follow the traditional script for defeated politicians who offer gracious congratulations to their victorious competitor and gently exit the stage.
