Dr. Jeanette Parker

If you could “Pull Back The Curtain!” and look at what is happening in the Holy Divine supernatural realm, it would be hard for you to believe, especially if you don’t believe in miracles. “Have No Fear!” Don’t you just love “it?” YOU can defy the results, whatever they are. Hear this! In order to rise above and surpass the appearance of all things that look like the end, we must hold on to our “faith.”

What is “faith?” Faith is that which you want and ask for, but there is no evidence in this material, physical realm that it will happen. And then later on you see it come to pass! It sounds really hard and possibly it sounds impossible, but it is not impossible. It may be hard, but “we can do it!” We’re not ordinary people. We’ve got tenacity!” We’ve got “stick-to-it-tive-ness.” We can hang on, persevere and “prevail!” Think about this..Around 4 b.c., the “shepherds” were watching over their flock in the night time. The angel came and heralded to them “the most important announcement of all time” concerning the coming of the Messiah. They were sore frightened when the angel came! It was then they learned where the “baby” was and went there and found The Messiah, The Savior of the World!

Not only that, but the “wise men” were in the east and saw “His Star.” But, back to the beginning of this account herein, Herod the king heard of these things and that there was another king coming. Hearing this, he was “troubled” and all of Jerusalem was troubled with him. Why? King Herod was an evil, perverse, cruel person. “Herod in his rage over his family rivalries and jealousies put to death the two sons of Mariamne, his wife. And he put to death another son, Antipater, who was once an heir and also, the brother and mother of Mariamne and her grandfather.” (Word Pictures in the New Testament. Archibald Robertson. Vol. I) He was in a fatal illness and furious. His kingship was threatened, so he thought he had to take action to protect his position. Rightfully so, the people was greatly troubled, knowing how vicious a man he was and could be! He proved his old criminal, insane behavior is what he called on when threatened. Murder!! He decided to kill all the young boys of two years and under to make sure, the Messiah would be a “goner.” Here is my point herein. While a murderous king Herod was in office, the Messiah was coming into the world. Nothing can hold back the will of God Almighty! So, while some are looking at the circumstances surrounding us. Be assured. The Almighty God is working things out for our favor, if you “call on Him “humbly and submissively.” Look not at the things which are seen. Those things are temporary. Look at the unseen, which is permanent. Look to the one and only righteous king who is working things out on behalf of those who belong to Him. “Believe” in His might, his power and His Spirit. Raise thoughts up higher to seek and find solutions in God.
