“Donald Trump loves to refer to himself as a ‘deal-maker,’ but in reality, his bluster on the world stage over the past week has only isolated the United States from our allies and played right into the hands of two of our most dangerous enemies, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump said in an interview with “Fox & Friends” that he knew the rapper “a little bit” and always got along with him, and said that West has noticed the low unemployment rate for Black Americans.
Trump’s critics suggest Trump has given Kim a major concession – the recognition that would come from a first meeting with a U.S. president – in exchange for nothing. But talking is far preferable to issuing threats and insults; exchanging proposals for peace far better than exchanging bombs in war.

Some see it as move to mobilize his base and stroke his own ego; others actually believe that he wants to celebrate and honor members of the military. It’s been reported that he wants the parade, because he saw a parade in Paris on Bastille Day. If he went to the zoo, would he want zebras and tigers roaming the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue next?
United States President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union Address Tuesday, January 30, during which he touted his administration’s various accomplishments, but less than half of the citizens watching and listening were impressed, according to a CNN poll. Many believed his bullet points about bi partisanship, the economy, unemployment, healthcare, tax and immigration reforms were merely rhetoric and did not paint a truthful picture of the administration’s agenda.

And his vulgar and morally reprehensible offense must not be dismissed as normal and diminished as unimportant nor rightful criticism be diverted in other ways. On the contrary, this criticism must become an ongoing ever-present part of the overall resistance to his crude, cruel and destructive regime. Indeed, he has waded in the squalid swamp of racist comments and practice for decades, viciously attacking as citizen, candidate and president the various peoples of color: Africans, Native Americans, Latinos and Asians.
