The Dorsey Dons used their rushing game to defeat the Crenshaw Cougars 28-3. Both teams now have a 4-3 overall record. The Dons are now 2-0 in the Coliseum League, tied at first with the King/Drew Golden Eagles.
Crenshaw senior Talita Robinson is a quarterback for the girl’s flag football team. Last season, she led the team to the Open Division City Section playoffs. In their inaugural season, the Cougars had a 17-2 overall record and 13-0 Coliseum League record.
The Crenshaw Cougars football team ended their Homecoming game with a victory after defeating the Dymally Challengers 35-0. The Cougars won their first Coliseum League game of the season in the contest.

The King/Drew Golden Eagles boy’s and girl’s basketball teams displayed their dominance in the Coliseum League when they defeated the Dorsey Dons on Wednesday. The King/Drew girls defeated the Donnas 65-8 and the King/Drew boys bested Dorsey with a 76-42 victory.
Crenshaw senior quarterback Donce’ Lewis helped lead the Cougars football team to the CIF City Section Championship for two consecutive seasons. During his junior year, he helped the Cougars win the City Section title.
Coliseum League play started on a high note with the Crenshaw Cougars boys basketball team defeating the Washington Prep Generals 113-112 in quadruple overtime.
