The Riley Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering and motivating youth through mentoring, fitness, sports, dance and educational programs, will host its fourth annual fundraiser gala: “Golfing ‘Fore’ Good” at the all-new Topgolf El Segundo. All proceeds will advance the mission of The Riley Youth Foundation and support the next generation of strong leaders.

Inspired by the life of U.S. Air Force veteran and Santa Monica police officer Rashad A. Riley, The Riley Youth Foundation was founded by Riley’s wife, Maya, following his untimely death in April 2019.

A devoted husband and father of three, Riley was a true force of nature with a heart of gold, who relished living life to the fullest. He took great pride in encouraging those around him to reach their full potential, particularly children.

Whether coaching his son’s basketball team, mentoring youth in the Santa Monica Police Explorer program or interacting with the city’s most vulnerable residents, Riley always demonstrated integrity, compassion and empathy.
