GMWA – L.A. Chapter Holds ‘Back To The Old Landmark’ Concert

The Gospel Music Workshop of America – L.A. Chapter will hold its ‘Back To The Old Landmark’ concert on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 4 p.m., at the People’s Independent Church of Christ, 5856 West. Blvd., in Los Angeles. The annual event features regional and nationally-known gospel vocalists and musicians as well as recognizes contributors to the endurance of the genre, said the Rev. Calvin B. Trinity Holds Successful Blanket Drive for Homeless

For the 11th consecutive year, the Homeless Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church conducted a successful Blanket Drive to aid homeless men, women and children living on L.A.’s skid row. According to Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr., and homeless activist Brian Ferguson, Trinity congregants and community members donated more than 400 new blankets and pillows during the annual event held on Dec. 15. Love, Peace and Happiness Family Christian Fellowship Church plans a Mother’s Day salute on Sunday, May 13, at their three campuses.
