Ranked is a digital platform that allows human nature to unfold. Created by Taylor Humphries, Ranked uses the combination of organic cultural influence and AI to create genuine excitement around brands looking to cultivate authentic relationships with their audience. As a short-form digital content streaming networking service, Ranked works as a bridge for brands and creators.

Ranked partners with the people who shape culture – like creators and creatives – to amplify their voices and make a bigger, more authentic impact.

Ranked connects brands with people interested in sharing their experience. As people capture their reaction and receive views, those creators get paid based off their engagement.

Humphries was inspired to conceptualize Ranked after the social widespread of the Mannequin Challenge; a viral social media trend in 2017, where a moving camera would glide through a sea of people, catching them frozen in place like mannequins, as a whimsical scene of events unfolds to the viewer.

After a bit of research, Humphries realized a 14-year-old Black girl from Houston started that challenge. He wondered if she got any money for creating a huge social media phenomenon.

Ranked is looking to break the mold of outdated Ad models, by providing a space where the audience’s voice is amplified from all communities.

“Let’s go right to the people who are creating the culture, living and breathing it—how can we give them the platform, technology and pathway,” Humphries said. Ranked looks to expand local opportunities to communicate with potential consumers that bigger brands could miss without this platform.

Ranked makes the process simple. Brands come to the platform to bridge the gap between their message and their audience, by partnering them with cultural architects who turn authentic experiences into powerful digital content.

Ranked automates offers to the creators, and measure their engagement, paying them according to their performance. On the back end, brands receive organic information about their audience, presented in a digital dashboard and a growing leaderboard that measures critical metrics.

Mega brands like Disney, Walgreens and Walmart are tapping Ranked to mix in with their future digital marketing strategies. Humphries shared that they have approximately 15,000 creators that organically found this platform.
