Barbara Bryant truly relishes proclaiming the power of God and she’s been faithfully spreading that message for more than 25 years. In April 2021, Bryant was appointed jurisdictional supervisor/state mother for the Department of Women by Bishop Joe L. Ealy, presiding prelate of the SoCal First. One of her main duties is instructing women in the jurisdiction’s 200+ churches to grow ministries through prayer and evangelism.

SoCal 1st BPW Plans Annual Day Conference

The Church of God in Christ Southern California First Jurisdiction’s Business and Professional Women (BPW) will Annual Day Conference on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the First BPW Headquarters, Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, 1399 E. 33rd St., in Los Angeles. Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr., was re-elected as the presiding bishop of Church of God In Christ (COGIC) at the COGIC General Assembly meeting held on November 15, during the COGIC 109th Holy Convocation.
