Inglewood Residents Get Into Holiday Spirit at This Year’s WinterFest

Hundreds gathered for the 2023 WinterFest at Hollywood Park in Inglewood on Saturday, Dec. 2. The free annual holiday celebration included a farmers’ market, activations from future Hollywood Park retail tenants and other local businesses, food vendors, holiday reef decorating activities, live entertainment from the Inglewood High School Marching Band, photos with Black Santa, and Baron Davis’ annual Celebrity Basketball Game.

Known as “The Godfather of Los Angeles Basketball,” Baron Davis went from an elite prep athlete to an NBA All-Star who spent 15 years playing on the pro level. During his NBA career, Davis averaged 16.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. He also shot at 40.9 percent from the field and 32.0 percent from the three-point line.
