Vendors and Attendees express excitement for the Taste of Soul’s in-person return

Good vibes and energy permeated Saturday’s, October 15, Taste of Soul event which is probably what caused the rain and clouds that filled the sky earlier that morning to disappear. The free family street festival took place on the historic Crenshaw Blvd. and attracted thousands of people from all over to enjoy food, music, performances, and much more. The event took place virtually for the past two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

TecLeimert Brings Taste of the Future to Taste of Soul’s Digital World

TecLeimert joined Taste of Soul’s Digital World on October 15, just three weeks after the nonprofit’s innovative Black to the Future Conference. Their station was alight with live podcast recordings of panel discussions with industry experts, immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences, a 360 photo booth machine complete with bubble gun fun, and multiple gaming stations, all highlighting the creative side of technology.

The Brenda Marsh-Mitchell Gospel stage at the 17th Annual Taste of Soul is where the best gospel choirs in Los Angeles came with everything they had and blessed the atmosphere with excellent music and a sound that kept the crowd engaged, smiling, dancing, and giving God the glory.

Non-stop topnotch musical entertainment will add to Taste of Soul’s signature spirit of merriment, providing attendees with good vibes and great opportunities to dance during the family-friendly festival on October 15. 

Children’s World Brings Talented Youth to Taste of Soul 

Children’s World returns to Taste of Soul, October 15, featuring a dynamic array of youth performances. The stage will be produced by The School Tour creator, Randy Hankins, who has been presenting entertainment acts at the festival for 14 years. Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the stage’s sponsor, will spotlight their upcoming family-friendly programs at the festival as well.
