The story of Marquis “Bin Laden” Curtis is that of resilience and triumph. His talents at the quarterback position made the Crenshaw Cougars football team a competitive force in the mid 2000s. Curtis led the Cougars to their first Division I City Section title in school history.

Crenshaw Football Wins State Championship

The Crenshaw Cougars football team concluded their season with a state championship and CIF accolades. Seven players were named on the CIF All-City Open Division first team, including senior quarterback Isaiah Johnson, senior linebacker Patrick Willis Jr. and sophomore defensive back Jared Greenfield.  Five players were named on the Open Division second team.
