Trinity Holds Successful Blanket Drive for Homeless

For the 11th consecutive year, the Homeless Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church conducted a successful Blanket Drive to aid homeless men, women and children living on L.A.’s skid row. According to Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr., and homeless activist Brian Ferguson, Trinity congregants and community members donated more than 400 new blankets and pillows during the annual event held on Dec. 15. Crenshaw Christian Center and American Red Cross Celebrate ‘Power in the Blood’

Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) and the American Red Cross (ARC) united to present the 2018 Annual Prayer Breakfast on Dec. 6, and an ecumenical crowd of 250+ came out to support the event. The creative theme, “Celebrating the Power in the Blood,” underscored the Christian doctrine of salvation in the blood of Jesus and the efforts of Red Cross to increase blood donations to save lives.
