1. Crenshaw (6-0) – Will any Coliseum League team score on the Cougars before Dorsey? Probably but my over/under is 20 combined for Jefferson and Locke.

2. Serra (6-0) – Tailback Shaquille Richard continued his strong play filling in for Dominique McGee (104 yards, 3 TD’s). Their defense held Bishop Montgomery to 15 yards total.

3. Carson (4-2) – The George Washington estate called and demanded an apology for the Colts 71-0 (yes, you read that right) beating of Washington Prep. It’s hard being a President against the Marine League this year.

4. Dorsey (5-1) – Jefferson wasted little time serving their purpose as the sacrifical lamb for a Dons team hungry for a win.

5. Culver City (5-1) – If the Centaurs and Inglewood met up again, don’t use a scoreboard, use a pinball machine. And give the game ball to senior Edwin Tillman (130 yards, 3 TD’s)

6. Taft (3-3) – Barely broke a sweat against Granada Hills in that 47-0 win.

7. Narbonne (3-3) – 4-0-1 against San Pedro since 2005. That’s the only number that counts in the South Bay.

8. San Pedro (4-2) – Two is not a great number for the Pirates. The second half vs. Narbonne saw them only have two first downs and score two points on a safety. And Narbonne’s CJ Wiley (#2) had an INT and a TD in the half.

9. Venice (5-1) – Next up, 0-6 Palisades. Meet the bully of the Western League in all their fury.

10. Leuzinger (5-1) – Great close win against Palos Verdes thanks a 26-point fourth quarter and game-winning score by Denzel Idris. Te’Shon Burton is your new great QB that no one is talking about (22-29, 430 yards, 5 TD’s and no INT’s)
