Audubon Middle School and Gifted Magnet will host a free Cultural Arts Showcase on Saturday, May 18, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the school located at 4309 Leimert Blvd., in Los Angeles.

Themed “A Love Letter to Los Angeles,” the event will feature an array of artistic expressions including art exhibitions, musical performances, dance presentations, and spoken word performances. All presentations will be crafted and presented by the students of Audubon Middle School and Gifted Magnet.

“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for this special occasion,” said Deanna Hardemion, principal of Audubon.

The Cultural Arts Showcase will serve as a platform for students to showcase their creativity, passion, and dedication to the arts. By attending, community members will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable achievements of the students throughout the academic year.

“We encourage everyone to come out and show your support for our students,” added LaToya Alvarez, Cultural Arts Coordinator at Audubon. “This event is a celebration of our community, our city, and the boundless potential of our youth.”

The event is open to the public and admission is free.
