Jehovah’s Witnesses and City of Long Beach Commemorate 25-Year Partnership

Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson and other city officials gathered for an open house on July 20 to celebrate 25 years of Jehovah’s Witnesses hosting annual conventions at the Long Beach Arena.  The event featured videos, testimonials, and other memorabilia highlighting the history and future of the partnership.

Church of the Transfiguration Plans Centennial Celebration

The members of Church of the Transfiguration will mark 100 years of spiritual service to the South Los Angeles community during its four-day centennial celebration beginning Thursday, August 3, and concluding on Sunday, August 6.
