On Saturday, Dec. 23, Compton hosted Hub City Dre’s Concert and Toy Giveaway. Held at Lueders Park, the event was filled with live music, toys for kids, and even a touch of snow.
The program showcased performances by Lil Eazy-E, 2nd II None, and Compton AV. Also, the city distributed over 2,000 toys donated by sponsors, which made the event even more festive, bringing smiles to kids and families all around.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Councilmember Andre Spicer expressed his appreciation for the unity displayed by the Compton community.
“Compton came together in a remarkable way at the Toy Giveaway, showcasing the heart and dedication of our community,” Spicer shared.
“It was truly inspiring to witness everyone contributing to a day of joy and generosity – a genuine representation of what makes our city extraordinary.”
The generous support from sponsors, including Nationwide Recruiting, L1S Sports Management, Omega Psi Phi-Tau Tau Chapter, Eric Wright Family Foundation, The Fisher Brand, Think Watts Foundation, the Bridge Compton, and Sherman Foundation, played a crucial role in making Hub City Dre’s Concert and Toy Giveaway a resounding success.
