The boisterous voice thunders, “Defeat! Fear! Believe naysayers!” The voice wants to lead you to believe in gloom, doom. Don’t listen.

That’s not “the” voice. It’s false and misleading, seeking to deceive; the voice that says, “give up.” We never give up! Never. Never. Never. We listen to the voice of hope; the voice of “I can do it,” the voice of perseverance. There is strength inside you that propels you to and through your mission, dream and destiny. Your inside voice dictates, “Yes. I can do it!” Some persons are only happy when they seek to hurt others. Their end will not be without fault. Something will happen in their lives, perhaps catastrophic failure. They may never have the wisdom–introspection to say, “What did I do or not do? Have I hurt anyone?” Is it just persecution [sometimes it is] More unfortunately, they don’t connect the dots. Words carry meaning, encouraging or detrimental. Words count for or against the speakers. The audience will interpret those words according to their own experiences and understanding. Their interpretation may be false and flawed. The writer/speaker has a destructive agenda. But not every reader will believe what is written, just because it is written. Written words may attempt to destroy; but they miss the target. People who write words to destroy may write because they have the freedom to do so. But it doesn’t mean they are right. Printed and spoken words can be untruths. There is a “day of reckoning.”

Why do people want to destroy, disparage and hurt others? These are modern day idols of the mind with one adversary and followers whose mission is destruction. But, there is ONE defender who will avenge. Be mindful of words, spoken and written…to whom those words are aimed. It’s not going to turn out the way you hope and desire. The adversary mistakenly thinks he’s in charge, but is under ultimate doom and wants to take whoever will follow by deceptive means. We’re “the strong ones” with eternal HOPE and SUCCESS.

Remember David, a favorite ancient warrior, who had a diabolical enemy, King Saul, controlled by jealousy, viciously hunted David, seeking to kill him more than twenty times. With deranged mind, sought to destroy him…ran himself crazy; literally “insanely” jealous.

One of the by-products of his insanity: his sons lost their lives in war. Saul committed suicide. David insisted on not hurting his enemy even with opportunity to actually kill him; but David did not do it. So, let’s pray for our enemies. I do. People who speak words of hate don’t realize the object of their hate is not the person, but the object is God Almighty and His image. No worries. They can’t stand against HIM. They’re enslaved by “idols-of-their-minds:” jealousy and hate. BE ENCOURAGED!
