Eliminating old criminal records will be the focus of the Record Cleaning Workshop hosted by Save Our Sons Prison Ministry on Sunday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m., at Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 3740 Don Felipe Drive in Los Angeles.
Criminal defense attorney MaryEtta Marks will explain the various options to remove prior infractions from your history, said Pastor Royce Porter, Sr.
“If past criminal records are hampering your career success, we invite you to attend this workshop and bring your rap sheet,” said Porter. “Attorney Marks will explain how to qualify for an expungement, Prop 47 relief or a certificate of rehabilitation. Also, paralegals will be on hand to assist you.”
An attorney for more than 25 years, Marks is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a former Los Angeles County deputy public defender.
