Continued controversy from a sitting president who continues to incite division within the NFL has not stopped black players from exercising there right to protest and freedom of speech. In Miami, Kenny Stills and two other Dolphins players protested during the anthem before their 26-24 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Colin Kaepernick later tweeted encouragement to Stills and other NFL players that had the courage.
My brother @kstills continued his protest of systemic oppression tonight by taking a knee. Albert Wilson @iThinkIsee12 joined him in protest. Stay strong brothers!✊🏾
