L.A. Churches Host Christmas, New Year’s Eve Services

Local churches and ministries throughout the Southland will host several activities to observe Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. People’s Independent Church of Christ will sponsor three events during the holiday season. All activities will take place on the church’s campus at 5856 West Blvd., in Los Angeles. According to Bishop Craig A. Worsham, senior pastor, the Willa Dooley Missionary Society will conduct their annual distribution to the homeless on Friday, Dec. 23. Community Groups Unite Join Forces to Promote Health Care

  Los Angeles community leaders gathered at Price Community Improvement Project’s Enrollment Center on November 13, joining Riverside County Black Chamber of Commerce and Crenshaw Health Partners, as part of a statewide effort to mobilize community leaders to encourage eligible families and individuals to enroll in health coverage, particularly in the African-American community. Price Chapel holds 69th Anniversary, Steward Day Services

Pastor Benjamin Hollins and the members of Price Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will hold a dual celebration observing their 69th Anniversary and Annual Steward Day. Price Chapel AME Plans Women of Faith Revival

Life-changing messages are promised at the “Women of Faith Summer Revival” at Price Chapel AME Church, 4000 West Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles. Price Chapel AME holds Outreach to Help Children of Incarcerated Parents

 For the ninth consecutive year, Price Chapel AME Church will host an Angel Tree Breakfast and Christmas Program to share fellowship, food, toys and gifts with more than 40 children and 25 families.
