U.S. VETS CELEBRATES MEMORIAL DAY VETERANS TO BE COMMEMORATED AT 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION; RENAMING AND DEDICATION TO TAKE PLACE AT INGLEWOOD FACILITY FRIDAY, MAY 25

WHAT:            U.S.VETS celebrates its 25th Anniversary at its first veteran’s facility in Inglewood. Highlighting the Memorial Day event will be the renaming of U.S.VETS LA to U.S.VETS INGLEWOOD.   Celebrating 25 years of service in the Inglewood Neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Memorial Day / Weekend event will host political dignitaries and special guests. Highlights for the event will also include commemorative ceremony honor Veterans, a community resource fair (open to the public), live music and color-guard ceremony along with a reception honoring the veteran residents of U.S.VETS Inglewood and its community and neighborhood.   WHO:              Stephen J. Trump’s First State of the Union Less than Impressive for Dems 

United States President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union Address Tuesday, January 30, during which he touted his administration’s various accomplishments, but less than half of the citizens watching and listening were impressed, according to a CNN poll. Many believed his bullet points about bi partisanship, the economy, unemployment, healthcare, tax and immigration reforms were merely rhetoric and did not paint a truthful picture of the administration’s agenda. 

Waters Demands Twitter Disclose Kremlin-linked User Accounts that Targeted her District 

Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43), Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee, released the following statement and attached letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in response to a report from BuzzFeed News and Media Matters revealing that she and her congressional district were targeted by at least one Twitter account that was linked to a Russian firm tied to the Kremlin.
