A man died after he tried to hit people on a sidewalk with his truck, crashed against a building and then was pulled out and beaten by the group in Southern California, authorities said. Leader of Pharmacy Robbery Crew Sentenced to Prison

A Lynwood man was sentenced today to 20 years behind bars for running a crew that committed 15 armed robberies of independent, mom-and-pop pharmacies across Southern California, with the intent of illegally selling the stolen prescription medication. Tyrome ``Boobie'' Lewis, 26, was found guilty in June of all eight felony charges he faced.
