The much-anticipated Lakers versus Clippers Christmas Day game was an old-fashioned showdown between two teams that share the same home court in STAPLES Center. It came down to the wire in front of a star-studded crowd that included comedian Kevin Hart and actor Anthony Anderson, but ultimately a few costly turnovers and questionable fouls erased the Lakers 15-point lead to give the Clippers the edge, 111-106.

Paul George nails game winner on Thunder for 90-88 victory

Paul George’s former team, Oklahoma City, arrived in Los Angeles looking to defeat the Clippers. The Thunder ended up on the wrong side of a game winning three-pointer by the elite forward propelling the Clippers to a 9-5 record.  “That play was designed for me to be freed up, kind of a misdirection to draw attention to Lou and and then coming to clean me up on the other side,” said George. “It was fun, it was fine, again it was any other game.
