Man Killed in South Los Angeles Shooting

A man is dead after being shot in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles and police today are continuing their
investigation into his death.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 10 p.m. Monday at 6725 Fourth Ave. near South Van Ness Avenue and found a 25-year-old man with gunshots wounds, said a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.

This project is funded at nearly $9
million thanks to HHH, a $1.2 billion bond issued by Councilmember Harris-Dawson and supported by millions of voters to create housing and provide services for individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness.

The Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) and the Dynasty United Youth Association (DUYA) come together to launch the virtual Accelerated Learning Program Service for South L.A. students in grades K-12. Students can access the free educational support program, Monday through Friday, noon to 8:00 p.m through June 5, 2021. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Victim in Fatal Crenshaw Crash Had Stopped When She Was Rear-Ended

A female driver was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter by gross negligence following a crash in the Hyde Park area of South Los Angeles that claimed the life of a 30-year-old woman, police said.

Inglewood Man Pleads Not Guilty in Shootings That Killed 1, Injured 3

Daniel Martinez, 30, of Inglewood, is facing one count each of murder, shooting at an inhabited dwelling or motor vehicle and possession of an assault weapon, along with three counts of attempted murder. The criminal complaint also includes gun and gang allegations.
