McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour Weekend Experience

This is the first time the Golden Arches has offered a two-day empowering and educational experience as part of its free nationwide tour. The tour is an extension of McDonald’s Black & Positively Golden campaign, an initiative that shines a brilliant light on Black excellence through the areas of empowerment, education and entrepreneurship. The Golden Voice Talent Showcase and Master Class were produced in partnership with RCA Inspiration.

International Prospects to Head to Atlanta For First NBA Academy Games in The U.S. 

The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced that the third NBA Academy Games – a series of exhibition games featuring prospects from the seven NBA Academies and other teams – will take place Tuesday, July 9 – Sunday, July 14 at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, the official practice facility of the Atlanta Hawks, in Atlanta, Ga, marking the first time the NBA Academy Games will take place in the U.S.

FX Comedy ‘Atlanta’ Will Return After Production Delay

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Donald Glover’s comedy “Atlanta” will be back. Just not as soon as expected. FX Networks CEO John Landgraf told a TV critics’ meeting on Monday that the series is behind schedule. The Georgia-based show was renewed for a third season in June and was supposed to return this year. Landgraf said the show’s writers are working on new episodes. Network spokesman John Solberg added that the show won’t be back in time for Emmy Awards consideration this year. “Atlanta” has won two Emmys and two Golden Globe awards.
