A range of Christian Education classes highlight the fall curriculum at the School of Evangelism sponsored by Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The popular ‘Survival Kit for the 21st Century’ is among the certificated courses available to students.
The classes take place every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., from September 8 through November 10, on the church campus located at 2009 West Martin Luther King Boulevard in Los Angeles.
“Our fall session will elevate students to a higher level of discipleship and personal commitment to Christ,” said Dr. Sylvester Washington, executive director and host pastor.
“Also, our certificated curriculum features an introductory course that explains the basic Biblical principles of evangelism as set forth in scripture. We encourage the community to attend our classes and grow in your walk with Christ, ” he added.
The classes include Introduction of Evangelism, Preparation for On-the-Job Training, Evangelism Practicum, Methods and Techniques of Evangelism, Responding to False Doctrines, An Approach to Evangelism Through Counseling Techniques and Group Counseling. The classes continue until Tuesday, November 13.
