Bishop Washington Celebrates 55th Pastoral Anniversary

  More than five decades of Christian and pastoral service will be marked by Bishop Sylvester and Mrs. Earlee Washington at the 55th Anniversary Celebration sponsored by the congregation of the historic Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The observance begins with a musical on Sunday, September 15 at 3:30 p.m., in the church’s sanctuary located at 2009 West Martin Luther King Blvd., in Los Angeles.  On Sunday, September 22, at 3:30 p.m., an appreciation service will take place at Pleasant Hill. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Donald R. Robinson, pastor of the Community Missionary Baptist Church of Redlands,
