For the 25th consecutive year, Mothers In Action will host its Back to School Health Fair to provide hundreds of young people with free resources to help them succeed when they return to campus.

According to MIA President Tracy Mitchell, the drive-through event will be held on Saturday, August 12, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the Exposition Park Green Lot, located at 3998 Hoover Street in South Los Angeles.  To receive the fully loaded backpack and other free items, attendees are required to pre-register by calling (323) 290-0456 or emailing [email protected].

“Also, every family will receive a food box thanks to the Southern California Food Bank, fresh fruit courtesy of Mothers Nutritional, and information on obtaining or upgrading Internet access from Digital Divide,” she noted.
