While the COVID-19 pandemic has severely limited in-person worship, Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) continues to positively touch the lives of its members and the South L.A. community. In addition to its online Sunday and weekday services and prayer line, CCC maintains several outreach efforts to help greater Los Angeles.
Pastor Frederick K. Price, Jr., outlined the wide range of CCC’s ministries in a recent update. The church activities include the campus being a test site for COVID-19 where more than 388,319 people have been tested since March 23; providing food to more than 1,800 families in conjunction with Love Has No Limits, partnering with Mercy Network Churches to donate groceries to 142 families with children and assisting 200 CCC families during the recent holidays; and contributing gifts to children through the Terry Mize Orphanage.
Price also said that CCC collaborated with American Red Cross to host a series of blood drives, which resulted in the collection of 550 units of blood.
“Each unit has the potential of saving up to three lives. CCC has ministered physical life to as many as 1,650 people,” noted Price, who shared that the next blood drive will be held on Sunday. January 24. To participate, visit redcrossblood.org.
Both members and supporters can keep up with CCC activities and Ever Increasing Faith Ministries (EIFM) through a variety on online platforms. Price wrote in a recent email message, “Almost every message that was ever taught at CCC and EIF, is now available on the On Demand platform and we continue to upload new and exciting messages.
“Currently, we are adding exclusive teaching that can only be viewed on EIFM On Demand. It is now available on your mobile devices and your Smart Televisions. EIFM On Demand can now be found in the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, ROKU and more.
