Reflections, tributes and condolences poured in from around the world to salute the pioneering legacy of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, founder of the world-renowned Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles. The mega-church builder passed away from complications from COVID-19 at the age of 89. His son and CCC pastor, the Rev. Frederick K. Price, Jr., made the announcement on Feb. 12, on Instagram. Crenshaw Christian Center Steps Up in Fight Against COVID-19

Pastor Frederick K. Price, Jr. and the members of Crenshaw Christian Center are on the forefront in the battle against COVID-19 by hosting a range of activities to help the community. Their involvement began on March 24, when CCC opened their campus as a drive-thru testing site for the coronavirus. Faith Community Presentation Highlights Alzheimer’s Epidemic Among Blacks

  Blacks are four times as likely to suffer from Alzheimer’s, dementia and strokes compared to other ethnic groups, but in an overwhelming majority of cases, those diseases are preventable. The Alzheimer’s Ministry of Crenshaw Christian Center wants to heighten awareness about the lifestyle changes that African Americans can adopt to reducing the chances of being affected. More than 500 women filled the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach to hear Dr. Betty R. Price at the 41st Annual Wisdom From Above Luncheon.
