On July 11, the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship witnessed a momentous occasion as Bishop T. Delbert Robinson and several other ministers were consecrated under the leadership of Bishop Joseph W. Walker in a grand service held in New Orleans, LA.

As a Los Angeles native, Bishop Robinson’s spiritual journey and exemplary leadership have left an indelible mark on numerous congregations from Southern California to the southern region of the nation.

Robinson’s roots in Los Angeles are deep and widespread. His previous pastoral roles span across several prominent churches, including All Nations, Kingdom Builders Christian Fellowship, Church In The Kingdom, Pilgrims Hope Bible Church in Los Angeles, and Zion Baptist Evangelistic Temple in Compton.

Currently, he serves as the senior pastor of both Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans and Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta. His wife, the Rev. Jasmine Robinson, serves as co-pastor.

Both congregations have flourished under their stewardship, benefiting from their vision for growth, community outreach, and deep spiritual engagement.  One member noted, “Bishop Robinson’s ability to connect with diverse groups of people and inspire collective progress speaks volumes of his dedication to his ministry.”

Bishop Robinson has been deeply involved in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship for almost 30 years, serving as both a district and general overseer. His consecration as bishop marks a significant milestone in his career and further solidifies his influence and responsibilities within the church community. The guidance provided by Bishop Joseph W. Walker during this ceremonious event signify a passing of the torch to a new generation of ecclesiastical leadership.

Furthermore, Bishop Robinson’s familial ties add another layer to his rich spiritual heritage. Being the son-in-law and pastoral successor of Bishop Paul S. Morton, founding father of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Bishop Robinson continues a legacy of religious dedication and impactful ministry.

The consecration in New Orleans attracted church leaders, family, and congregants in a celebration of faith, leadership, and community, marking a new chapter for Bishop Robinson and the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.
