Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd – Next to the Los Angeles Police Department – Lower Level next to Sears in the Meeting Room beginning at 1:00 p.m.
"I have been so challenged as watching, counseling and ministering to people who are struggling because they don't know that programs on the Federal, State or Local level exist which could help them to meet some of their basic daily needs. All of this has helped me to painfully, understand the truth of the Scripture which says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Isaiah 4:6). Unfortunately somewhere between social service program development, implementation and information dissemination many much needed resources have only gone as far as being written out on paper. But more has to be done to get the word out to the people in the community who need to know they exist. So www.HelpIsOnTheWayLA.org and www.GirlfriendsInChrist.org have partnered to make sure it gets done while asking for nothing in the process for where God gives the vision, He will make provision." says Founder and President Lady Phelencia A. White.

Refrigerator Replacement programs, In-Home Supportive Services and Employment Opportunities, FREE! Foreclosure Assistance, Hot Meal Delivery Programs, Low Income Housing Programs, Free! and Discounted Transportation Services. But this isn't all.
"We recognize that many passion ministries lack the funding to advertise their programs beyond their Sunday church bulletins, but we're committed to getting the word out so that people in the communities where these churches, ministries or other community social service organizations are located know about them. It's sad to know that a neighbor next door to a church didn't know food was available for the asking only because they didn't come to church on Sunday morning. Sometimes you need to feed people just to get them there. Girlfriends in Christ is the ambulance that drives the unchurched and church hurt to the churches which are hospitals and ministries which are clinics. Sometimes a meal or meeting some other natural need is just the thing to get them into the ambulance for much needed soul care." says Lady Phelencia.
During these challenging economic times, you are urged to attend so you can find out what is available to you. Those who attended last month's session left saying, "Wow!
