A man who was an NFL quarterback has been charged with assaulting his wife, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
William Erik Kramer (dob 11/6/64) of Agoura Hills faces one misdemeanor count of battery.
Arraignment is scheduled tomorrow in Department 100 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Van Nuys Branch. Case 8VW00685 was filed on Aug. 3.
Kramer is charged with physically assaulting his wife at their home during a domestic dispute on June 13, prosecutors said.
If convicted as charged, Kramer faces a possible maximum sentence of a year in jail.
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Lost Hills Station.
