Los Angeles City Clerk Holly L. Wolcott announced that the Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder/County Clerk is seeking the public’s input regarding the placement of vote centers through a survey published by the Vote Center Placement Project.
In 2020, LA County will implement the changes proposed by the California Legislature (SB 450) and approved by the Governor in 2017, which allows counties to change from precinct based polling places to voting centers. Voters will be able to vote at any voting center in the City (or County). The City Clerk encourages Angelenos to express their preferences through the Vote Center Survey. The County is in the process of determining where the Vote Centers should be located and is seeking the public’s input.
