Connective, Inc. will be hosting a basketball clinic from 10am-3pm at the St. Andrews Recreation Center. The focus of the event is to support youth, ages 15 and up, in understanding how they can utilize emotional intelligence, durability, grit and resilience to achieve success on and off the basketball court. Connective, Inc., in partnership with The RightWay Foundation, will lead a student athlete event that will comprise of an interactive life skills workshop and basketball clinic. The clinic will attract youth from the  South Los Angeles area this Saturday from 10am-3pm on June 23rd, 2018 at the St. Andrews Recreation Center. Youth ages 15 and up will utilize critical skills to persevere through mental and physical exercises meant to build their capacity to overcome situations encountered in life and on the basketball court.

The clinic will be led by Ian Thomas Minor, the Co-Founder of Connective, Inc. (a youth empowerment non-profit) and also the current Molloy College Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Ian Thomas Minor is a former Division – II basketball player and has been a school educator for over the past 12 years. In describing his work, Ian explains. “My job is to bridge that gap and provide kids with an appreciation for education combined with the life skills required to achieve throughout life. I help kids redefine success.”
