Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended two games without pay for fighting with Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica, including punching Bjelica in the head, it was announced Wednesday by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 7:28 remaining in the second quarter of the Magic’s 108-102 victory over the Timberwolves on Jan. 16 at Amway Center.
Afflalo will serve his suspension tonight when the Magic faces the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena and Jan. 21 against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
