Lakers Acquire Mo Bamba And Davon Reed

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired via trade center Mo Bamba from the Orlando Magic, forward Davon Reed from the Denver Nuggets and two second-round picks from the L.A. Clippers, it was announced Thursday by Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Rob Pelinka.

Lakers Announce 2019-20 Coaching Staff

The Los Angeles Lakers have named Jason Kidd, Lionel Hollins, Phil Handy, Miles Simon, Mike Penberthy and Quinton Crawford as assistant coaches on Head Coach Frank Vogel’s staff, it was announced today. Also named to Vogel’s staff are Greg St. Jean as player development coach/advance scout, Dru Anthrop as head video coordinator/player development coach and Jon Pastorek, as assistant video coordinator/player development coach.

Cavs sign Drew to new coaching contract for rest of season

Larry Drew and his agent, Andy Miller, had been negotiating since the Cavs’ top assistant asked for security and guarantees if he was going to become the rebuilding team’s interim coach and replace Tyronn Lue, who was fired on Oct. 28 following a 0-6 start. Drew wanted a pay raise to finish out the season and got one.

Orlando’s Arron Afflalo Suspended

Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended two games without pay for fighting with Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica, including punching Bjelica in the head, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
