The Compton Airport Users group (UTOPIA) is inviting the aviation industry, the city of Compton, and all the neighboring communities at large to attend the 1st Annual Compton Woodley Airport “Woodley’s Wings & Wheels Open House and STEM Expo Event” March 11, 2017. The free event is expected to engage spectators with static auto and aircraft displays, a parachute demonstration, military and civilian fly-bys, vendors, a STEM Expo, entertainment for all ages and more! Vendors serving food will be on hand, in addition to entertainment and music. A short list of invited performers to keep the crowds entertained includes the Experimental Aviation Association, Van Wagner Aerial Media, The Coast Guard, The Los Angeles Sherriff Department, The Los Angeles County Fire Department, and the branches of the US Military.
