The city of Compton will host the 2023 Compton Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The parade route will commence at Compton Blvd and Bullis Road with participants and viewers lining up down Compton Boulevard through the end of the parade route at Alameda Street.
This year, Compton has chosen “Around the World Holiday Celebration” as their theme celebrating the unique diversity of the city.

Participants include bands from all three Compton Unified School District High Schools, Long Beach Jordan High School, and Inglewood High School, as well as appearances by Compton Mania, Eric “Lil Eazy E” Wright, drill teams, equestrian groups and more.
The grand marshals are Steve Lacy and Aundrae Russell from Radio Free KJLH. Lacy was born and raised in Compton and is an award-winning Grammy-nominated musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Russell, co-host of the popular Radio Free KJLH morning show, has been in radio for over 30 years and a consistent advocate for positive change.
