When Compton native and 17-time GRAMMY Award-winning rap artist Kendrick Lamar made history with his “The Pop Out” show on Juneteenth, he was said to have united L.A.

On the Fourth of July, he dropped the video for “Not Like Us,” a diss track following up ones where he laid out his hate for a certain Canadian artist, but the visuals showed an abundance of LOVE for Compton and Black Los Angeles.

From featuring the Compton Courthouse, Compton’s beloved Tam’s Burgers, Nickerson Gardens, his own family, Tommy the Clown, countless Black Angelenos and so many more, the video made several references to his feud with rapper Drake while still giving flowers to his roots and to US.
