South LA Teachers Participate in Environmental Institute

Dr. Erango Kelbisow (right), science teacher at Middle College School in South Los Angeles, blows CO2 into a cup causing the acid base indicator in water to change color as his colleague teacher Dayna Haray from the same school watches. This process mimics acidification caused by increased CO2 in the air related to climate change.
