CALL FOR THEATER ARTIST – Voices of the Rebellion Deadline Extended

In conjunction with and support of Monumental Los Angeles April 29th-May 4th, 2022, Twinbiz is proud to announce that the Department of Cultural Affairs’ Leimert Park Cultural Hub will commission a total of six playwrights, actors, or spoken word artists to create and perform original or historical works in theatrical observance of the 30th anniversary of the LA Civil Uprising.

LAPD Chief Reports 16.9% Reduction in Homicides So Far in 2022

Eleven fewer homicides were reported in Los Angeles during the first month of 2022 than during the same period in 2021, a drop of nearly 17%, Police Chief Michel Moore said today. Overall violent crime, however, increased 3.5%, Moore told the Los Angeles Police Commission.
