Los Angeles and Jacksonville entered Sunday afternoon seeking their second wins of the season. Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert deserves a lot of credit for the poise and hard work he’s shown since taking over starting duties in just the second game of the season.

Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams Host Official Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Ahead of Inaugural Event

SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, hosted a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 8 marking the start of its inaugural year. The ceremony included Rams Owner/Chairman and SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park developer E. Stanley Kroenke, Chargers Owner/Chairman Dean Spanos and the city of Inglewood’s Mayor James T. Butts, with a video message from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. NFL Network’s Steve Wyche served as master of ceremonies.

Chargers Coach Reveals He Contracted the Coronavirus

Anthony Lynn, who is entering his fourth season as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, has disclosed that he has contracted the coronavirus. 

The disclosure came Tuesday night within the first five minutes of an episode of HBO’s NFL reality series “Hard Knocks,” which is in its 15th season. 

Los Angeles Chargers Announce Roster Moves

The Los Angeles Chargers today announced the release of defensive tackle P.J. Johnson, tackle Koda Martin, wide receiver Andre Patton, tight end Jared Rice, safety Roderic Teamer and tight end Andrew Vollert. The moves bring the roster to 80 players for the start of training camp.

Los Angeles Chargers Sign Joey Bosa to Multi-Year Extension

A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Bosa posted an NFL-record 19 sacks in his first 20 career games and has registered 10-plus sacks in three of his first four seasons (totaled 5.5 sacks in seven regular-season appearances in 2018). His 0.78 sacks-per-game ranks third since entering the NFL in 2016 among players with at least 40 career games played.
