Dream North Foundation and Los Angeles Police Museum Unite to Aid Foster Children

The Los Angeles Police Museum, located at 6045 York Blvd. in Los Angeles, is partnering with Dream North Foundation (DNF) to host “Story Time with Dream North and Friends,” an event dedicated to uplifting 50-100 foster children from Sycamores and Child Help foster agencies, and 10 inner-city students from Locke High School of Green Dot Public Schools.

Cynthia Cooper-Dyke is a WNBA legend who has left her mark on Los Angeles Basketball history as a player and as a coach. Although she was born in Chicago, Cooper-Dyke was raised in Watts and attended Locke High School.

The Rams and Nike Host High School Football Tournament

High school football teams throughout the Southland united at El Camino College to clash in the 11-ON Passing Tournament and Lineman Competition, hosted by the Rams and Nike. The event allowed the prep athletes exposure and extra practice but also allowed them to commune with other teams. Former NFL star and L.A. Dorsey Baseball and Softball Find Wins at Home

The Dorsey Dons softball team finished their season on a high note by defeating the Manual Arts Toilers 13-3 during their senior night game. For baseball, the Dons continue to pace the Coliseum League as of Monday, defeating the Locke Saints 6-3.
