The Board of Education voted Tuesday to extend the contract of Superintendent Michelle King for two years, until 2020. Los Angeles Unified School District officials said there were no other changes to King’s contract, which pays her an annual salary of $350,000. “I am grateful to the board for its confidence in our ongoing effort to provide a high-quality education so that all of our students are prepared for success when they graduate,” King said.
