Curry Temple CME Celebrates Men And Women’s Day

Annual Men and Women’s Day will be observed on Sunday, October 22, at 3 p.m., at Curry Temple CME Church. The theme is “Men and Women Working in Unity for The Lord.” The scriptural reference is I Corinthians 11:12. According to Pastor Joseph C. Gardner, “Everyone is invited to join this spirit-filled celebration coordinated by our co-chairs, Elliott and LaVern White. When praises go up, blessings come down!” The Rev. Asberry Charles, pastor of Dominion Power Christian Center in Los Angeles, will be the guest preacher. Called to preach at the age of 16, Charles has been a minister for 39 years.
