New non-denominational ministry aims to equip God’s people to live in fullness of Christ Promising a “spiritual life-changing experience,” the founders of Davar Christian Center are making plans to introduce a new ministry in Southern California. Price Marks 40th Anniversary of Ever Increasing Faith TV

Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, founder of Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles along with Dr. Betty Price, will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of his Ever Increasing Faith television (EIF) program on Sunday, April 22, at 9:45 a.m. The celebration will be held in the world-renowned FaithDome, 7901 S. Vermont Ave., in Los Angeles. The service will include several guests as well as presentations and testimonies by people influenced by the EIF ministry. EIF debuted in 1978 on KTTV in L.A. and currently broadcasts around the world. Also, the program is one of the longest, continuously-running, Christian teaching programs on television.

First Ladies Health Day Marks Another Successful Event

Thirty churches in the Los Angeles area participated in the 6th Annual Walgreens-sponsored First Ladies Health Day on March 26. During the event, free health tests and medical screenings were provided for the entire family to address preventative illnesses, which disproportionately affect African Americans and Hispanics. Medical healthcare partners from Walgreens and more than 50 health organizations provided medical advice and counseling, as well as screenings for hypertension, HIV/AIDS, glucose, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity and certain forms of cancer. CCC Reschedules Christmas and New Year’s Services

The Rev. Fred Price, pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) made the following announcement regarding the date and time change for Christmas and New Year’s Day worship services. “In celebration of Jesus’ birth, Sunday services will not be held on December 25, 2016 nor January 1, 2017 at Crenshaw Christian Center.  Instead, services will be held on Saturday, December 24 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, December 31, at 9:30 p.m.,” said Pastor Price.  He added that since Family Day will be observed, no Nursery nor Children’s services will be available. As September is National Preparedness Month, Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) executed a series of life-saving activities to equip congregants, local residents and businesses with information and resources for their personal and family wellbeing. Preparedness experts advise having a plan of action in the event of a natural disaster since emergency first responders will not be able to reach every household in a timely manner. The second annual Platform Workshop for Christian Songwriters will take place on Saturday, August 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC), 7900 Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles. The Platform for Christian Artists, presented in association with CCC Worship Arts, includes a songwriting workshop and sessions on the craft, ministry and business of music, writing and speaking along with networking opportunities.
