Several African American clergy gathered at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Los Angeles to request an apology from the Black Lives Matter Los Angeles Chapter leaders for disrupting a town hall meeting with Mayor Eric Garcetti, held last week in the sanctuary of Holman United Methodist Church. While Garcetti was speaking last week at Holman United Methodist Church, members of the group stood and turned their backs on the mayor.
