The Rams Honor Kenny Washington with Documentary

The Los Angeles Rams honored an important milestone in their history by releasing the short film “Kingfish: The Story of Kenny Washington.” Washington became the first Black player to be signed with an NFL team in the modern era when he joined the Rams on March 21, 1946.

LeBron James Named To All-NBA Third Team

The NBA announced today that Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James was named to the 2022-23 All-NBA Third Team. It is the 19th consecutive All-NBA honor of James’ career, extending the record for all-time most selections in league history, and his fifth overall as a Laker.

L.A. Chargers Select Local and Prominent Players in NFL Draft

The Los Angeles Chargers selected seven players in the 2023 NFL Draft. With their first round, 21st overall pick, the Bolts drafted TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnston. Head coach Brandon Staley mentioned how Johnston will be mentored by the likes of wideouts Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.
