The celebration which included music by Takeflight and DJ Damage was to share the trailer with friends, family, fans, and investors.

Vanessa Bell Calloway, actress known for her role in Coming to America and recurring role in the television show Shameless, spoke to the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper about her upcoming one-woman show Letters from Zora.  Letters from Zora, produced by Gabrielle Denise Pina and directed by Anita Dashell-Sparks, unveils the intimate life of writer Zora Neale Hurston.

Magic, adventure, and excitement filled the air at Dollarhide Community Center where over 300 local middle school students arrived to watch a private screening of the new Disney film, “A Wrinkle in Time.” The event titled “A Wrinkle in Compton,” was held in the City of Compton and hosted by the city’s very own Mayor Aja Brown and the film’s award-winning director Ava DuVernay.
